At Stonebridge University, creating learning experiences that build a more inclusive world isn’t something we take lightly. It’s the responsibility of every member of our community—students, faculty, staff, and partners—and it’s a journey that involves us all.
That’s why we’re fostering a culture of belonging for everyone who studies, works, or collaborates with us. We’re creating more opportunities for diverse perspectives to be heard and valued, and more moments that are equitable and enriching. After all, it’s what we do within Stonebridge University that empowers us to create vibrant and inclusive experiences for the wider world.
We recognize there’s still much to do, but we’re committed to moving forward together. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Strategic Pillars
Transforming education begins with transforming ourselves, which is why much of our work focuses on what we can achieve within Stonebridge University. We strive to empower our community members to achieve the life they envision for themselves so that we can, in turn, inspire and uplift others in the world.
We take pride in our ongoing efforts to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment both within and outside Stonebridge University. But, like learning itself, this is a journey—one that never truly ends.
Recruitment & Promotion
We’re working to minimize bias and make every decision about who we hire and how we promote employees equitably.
Recruiting the talent that will change the learning experience
Through new recruitment strategies and partnerships with organizations like myGwork, we are attracting diverse talent that will enrich our products and services.
We are equipping our managers with diverse hiring panels and inclusive interview packets to ensure equal opportunity in how we recruit.
Adding more representation to our leadership
We are committed to ensuring Stonebridge University’s leadership reflects the diversity of our global consumers through developing a more inclusive talent pipeline by increasing the participation of women and people of color in succession plans and leadership and mentorship programs, as well as reducing the turnover for both populations.
Growing the diverse leaders of the future
Transforming learning starts with developing diverse leaders who will drive the change, which is why we’ve rolled out our McKinsey Accelerator program to promote the advancement of underrepresented people.

We’re improving by engaging employees at each milestone along their journey to share their unique talents and contributions, so they want to stay for more moments.
Having real dialogues about our employees’ experiences
Through open forums like our Fireside Chats and Courageous Conversations, we’re increasing employee engagement by giving them more opportunities to share their perspectives.

Our ambition of building the most diverse workforce in the industry is informed by leveraging rich, rigorous DE&I data to hold ourselves accountable.
Building a more enriching onboarding experience
We are revamping our onboarding programs to create a more inclusive and enriching experience for our people from day one.
Creating equity in how we reward our people
We are going beyond reporting pay gaps to actively eliminating them through pay equity standards that create a level playing field for all employees.
Inclusive Culture
We’re creating a culture of belonging for everyone, where more perspectives are heard, respected, and valued.
Building accessibility into our learning experiences
We are giving our people the skills to make products and services accessible through initiatives like our accessibility training programs and Summer Accessibility Institute.
Bringing vibrancy to our own learning experiences
Through new learning and development programs such as our Inclusive Learning Experience, we are making our own learning as enriching as the experiences we create for our consumers.
Empowering the underrepresented
We are building learning relationships through mentoring programs like corporate disability and LGBT+ youth mentoring to help our underrepresented people advance.
Driving Inclusion with our Employee Resource Groups
We are nurturing a global and comprehensive network of Employee Resource Groups to ensure the experiences we create for our people and our consumers are truly inclusive.

Our learning experiences like Stonebridge+ and Inclusive Access are advancing equity in learning by making content available to consumers at lower prices.

We have created the industry-leading standard for representation and equity in learning through our Global Content Policy, and we’re applying it to all the content and services Stonebridge University produces.

Business and Employee Resource groups
Stonebridge University’s Employee and Business Resource Groups are voluntary, employee-created, and employee-led teams made up of colleagues who join together because of shared interests, characteristics, or life experiences. These groups are located around the world; aligned to Stonebridge University’s purpose, values, and business goals; and an integral part of our university culture.
