Free Laptop for International Students
Every international student studying at Stonebridge University is eligible to receive a free laptop.
We understand that a reliable device is essential for success in a digital learning environment, and we want to ensure that every student, regardless of background, can participate fully in our virtual campus.
What is the rationale for providing a complimentary laptop?
Stonebridge University’s laptop initiative exemplifies our dedication to enhancing accessibility in higher education for all individuals. We are committed to supplying a complimentary laptop to every new, fully enrolled, and financially cleared student to facilitate their study.
A complimentary laptop will be provided upon the commencement of your study. This enables you to fully engage in all course-related and extracurricular activities. Upon the completion of your degree, you may retain possession of the laptop with us.

Am I Eligible?
All fully enrolled students who have fulfilled their financial obligations with Stonebridge University are eligible for a laptop.
After you successfully enrol in one of our courses and confirm your payment, our Academic Administration Team will contact you to schedule a laptop collection appointment. You are not required to pay for your laptop, and there are no concealed expenses.
Who Qualifies
• All enrolled, pass-interview international students. • Students beginning their first academic year at Stonebridge University • Must be actively participating in a full-time or part-time programme “At Stonebridge, we don’t just offer education—we provide the tools to achieve it" Note: Shipping costs are entirely the responsibility of the student.
What is the travel bursary?
• Our travel bursary is £209.70 for London Zones 1–6 Travelcard. • Unrestricted use of London's buses, DLR, overground, trams, and underground. • Includes partial or full reimbursement for Oyster cards and bus passes within London.
Visiting the UK
• Coverage for visiting the UK from your country. • Maximum round-trip ticket coverage is £210.10.
Events & Stipends
• Support for event-related travel costs for Stonebridge-sponsored activities. • Opportunity to access additional stipends based on need and eligibility.
Who is eligible?
• Students awarded a Stonebridge University scholarship. • Students invited to in-person academic or networking events in London. • Must submit documentation of travel and participation.
Application Process
• No application required; eligibility is automatically reviewed. • Supplementary funds for graduation require selecting "Student Support" in your student loan application.
London Travel Bursary
London is a large metropolis, and we recognise that navigating it might incur significant costs. However, we believe that the expense of commuting to class should not deter anyone from pursuing their studies, so we have established our travel bursary.
We are also pleased to offer a London Travel Bursary to Stonebridge University students eligible for scholarship awards. This bursary supports those who need to travel for optional in-person activities, blended modules, events, or assessment sessions.
Whether you're visiting for a global networking event, attending a blended degree workshop, or participating in one of our in-person gatherings, the London Travel Bursary helps cover the cost of travel within Greater London.

How to Apply
Applying for the Additional Bursaries is simple. After your enrolment is confirmed, eligible students will receive an email with instructions to follow these steps:

International students only.
Submit supporting documents for the Travel Bursary
Scholarship students only.
Agree to the terms of use for equipment or financial aid
